Afternoon Stroll About Town

Rarotonga has many stories. For those interested in learning more about this beautiful island - but not so keen on riding a bicycle - why not come on a walking tour? Come be intrigued and learn about anything and everything that takes your interest (food, trees, flowers, culture, history, contemporary life…), with a knowledgeable tour guide, on a casual, easy-paced stroll around the Tupapa side of town on a Saturday afternoon. The area of town that you will visit lends itself well to many interesting stories - old and new. Finish up with a ‘cold one’ at a 'local's bar' in town at the conclusion of the walk.

This tour begins in town. Spend a morning at the Punanga Nui Market, grab some lunch, then come down to the Courthouse in town (Opposite Trader Jacks by the roundabout). Our assembly point is at the front of the Courthouse, 1.30pm. Our walking tour runs for approximately one and a half hours, before heading to a local bar for a drink. You will be dropped back to your accommodation between around 3.30 and 4.30pm (unless you have your own transport or you want to stay in town that is!).
