Discover Bicycle Tour followed by Lunch

The ‘Discover’ bicycle tour takes you along the Ancient Coral Road – Ara Metua - commonly referred to as ‘the back road’. Cycle along the inland roads and enjoy the beautiful scenery and tranquil pace of local village life. We cycle at an easy pace allowing plenty of time for you enjoy your surroundings, taste fresh produce, learn about island life, and even husk a coconut if you want! . This basic level cycling tour provides a way for you to discover the real Rarotonga with honest, interesting and amusing stories from a passionate tour guide - your 'storyteller'. The ride is predominantly on level to gently sloping terrain covering a distance of around 8 to 11 kilometres on mainly sealed roads. The Discover tour finishes with a delicious local lunch. This tour comfortably caters for those of a basic fitness level and limited riding experience. This tour is a favourite for families and those that do not ride their bike much… or have not ridden a bike for decades in some cases!

Pick up is between 7.45 and 8.35am at your accommodation, with the tour taking place from 9am to 12noon. You will be returned between around 12.30 and 1.30 pm. Please ensure you bring plenty of water with you.
